Nesia Straughn, Director of Operations
Prior to founding Kaszuby Kleaners Inc., Nesia worked in retail management for over 10 years, and trained staff for over 13 years with three of Canada’s largest janitorial service companies. As Director of Operations, Nesia is responsible for planning and monitoring the daily operations of Kaszuby Kleaners, supervising staff, and overseeing the efficiency of cleaning procedures. Nesia also manages the procurement processes, meeting clients face to face to evaluate their cleaning and sanitization requirements, and oversees the relationships and agreements with external partners and vendors.
Mervyn Price, Area Manager
As Area Manager for Renfrew County and Ottawa West, Mervyn is responsible for overseeing and optimizing cleaning operations to ensure efficiency while maintaining the quality standards of Kaszuby Kleaners commercial accounts. Mervyn participates in setting the standards and objectives for the worksites and ensures compliance with the company’s policies and operational standards. This position also requires Mervyn to warrant that Health and Safety Standards and Employment Standards are met at his area locations.
Alison Vandergragt, Business Development Manager
As the Business Development Manager at Kaszuby Kleaners, Alison is responsible for the development and implementation of new business growth strategies focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction. Alison actively seeks opportunities for company growth and develops and fosters new relationships with prospective clients. This position also requires participation in the procurement process, from finding and assessing RFP’s to submission of proposals and tenders.
Joyce Martin, Team Supervisor
As Team Supervisor at one of our primary manufacturing facility clients, Joyce is responsible for overseeing and optimizing cleaning operations to ensure efficiency while maintaining the quality standards set by our aerospace manufacturing client. Joyce participates in setting the standards and objectives for the worksite and ensures compliance with the company’s policies and operational standards.
